About Us

Lakeland Premier FC is committed to engaging local youth through the sport of soccer. Established in the early 1980s, our mission is to foster personal development, teamwork, discipline, and fun through our programs, while promoting fair play, respect, and community spirit. We are proud to be affiliated with the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) and to operate in accordance with its rules and regulations.

Our Structure & Governance

NLYS is governed by an elected Board of Directors comprising 15 members, including a 5‑member Executive Board. All board members adhere to our Constitution and By‑Laws, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with our mission.

What We Offer
  • Recreational Soccer: Open to children ages 4‑19. We run two seasons each year—Fall (registration June through mid‑July, games from September to December) and Spring (registration in January, with games on Saturday mornings from March through May).

  • Competitive Soccer (Lakeland Premier FC): For youth ages 8‑19 who seek a more challenging and higher‑level competitive experience. Competitive teams participate in regional and state‑wide leagues and tournaments.

Locations & Facilities

Our home fields for both recreational and competitive play are located at Hunt Fountain Park, 7036 Green Road, Lakeland, FL 33810.

Community Involvement & Tournaments

Recreational teams also take part in the Judges Cup and All‑Stars tournaments (for U10 and older groups) across Polk County. Competitive teams travel outside our immediate area (Region C) and sometimes statewide for matches and tournaments.
